King David's Tomb

King David's Tomb is located on Mount Zion in Jerusalem.

For hundreds of years people have been coming to set their prayers and dreams at this holy place, wishing for the advocacy of King David to bring their requests higher up in Heaven.
Many of these people use the words of King David himself for their prayers, by reciting the Psalms, which were written by David King of Israel.

King David's Tomb is covered with a blue velvet cloth with the words "David Melech Israel chay ve'kayam" embroidered on it. This is to symbolize that the spirit of King David forever rests upon us.
