FAQ

Can you pray for more than one person or more than one request?
Yes, we can pray for as many people as you wish, and for any of their different needs. The cost of a prayer at Kever David is $10 per person, and you should choose the requested number of people to be prayed for, on the registration form.

If I don't know my/their Hebrew name, can you still pray for me/them?
Yes. God recognizes names in all languages, but it is preferable to give the person who is praying on your behalf the Hebrew names of the person being prayed for and their mother's name.

Who are the people who will be praying on my behalf?
Righteous Torah scholars, who dedicate their lives to becoming closer to God, will be praying for you at Kever David. In return for financial support for themselves and their families, they will visit King David's Tomb to pray and recite Tehilim on your behalf.

If someone else is praying for me, do I still need to pray?
Yes, certainly. Asking someone else to intercede on your behalf does not remove your personal obligation to pray, but only strengthens the power of your own prayers.

What is the advantage of prayers at a tzadik's grave?
Prayers to God at a tzadik's grave are beneficial for the tzadik's neshama. The tzadik has more power in Heaven than we, laymen do and therefore, he can elevate our prayers to levels that we can't reach on our own.

Can I get a receipt for my donation?
